Ultrasound constitutes the cornerstone of modern obstetric care. It is therefore essential that sonographers are properly trained and that high standards are maintained by continuing education. The Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) has introduced multiple ways to provide comprehensive training and support for the proper implementation of many aspects of Fetal Medicine. The FMF online education is open to all those involved in obstetric ultrasound, including obstetricians, radiologists, radiographers and midwives.

We are pleased to announce that the FMF has launched a new website with online courses and other pathways for certification and participation in our educational events. Under the updated FMF approach, software access and licensing are no longer subject to annual image submission or annual audit requirements.
